ARKive would not be possible without the support of its image providers. Can you help us?
If you own moving or still images or audio of endangered, threatened or even extinct species ARKive can help to broaden world access to your collection.
ARKive will provide information about the copyright holders so that direct contact can be made for any commercial requirements. Those pledging images to ARKive will have the opportunity to promote larger collections of material, and ARKive will act as a showcase for the owners' commercial activities.
Images on the website are securely protected with electronic watermarking and released at a resolution good enough for educational purposes but too low for commercial use.
As a non-profit organisation, ARKive has no intention of working in competition with existing libraries and collections.

Legal Stuff
To protect your commercial interests, the Wildscreen Trust has an ARKive "Licence to use Copyright Materials" (contact us for details), drawn up by an IPR specialist at Osborne Clarke Solicitors. This licence provides an overall umbrella agreement, and a detailed Schedule is then completed each time specific materials are called in.
